Sometimes we all have an immediate and unexpected illness that just can’t wait for an appointment. We at FHC understand this and have set up Walk-In Clinics at 2 of our locations (Paterson Street in Kalamazoo and Sheridan in Portage). Paterson is open 6 days per week and Sheridan is open 5 days per week (for hours, click on the location links above) to help you and your family get the immediate care you need for acute conditions — illnesses that are generally of short duration, arise abruptly, rapidly progress and can be remedied fairly easily like a cold, cough, flu or rash.
Please understand that we are not able to treat chronic, long-term conditions during a walk-in visit. We are also unable to deliver and/or administer test results or refill routine medications during a walk-in visit. In these cases, you will be asked to make an appointment to see your regular Medical Provider.
We are here to help you get healthy & stay healthy!
